Misguided: The Audio Edition, Chapters 1 and 2

Two new audio chapters: the scope and consequences of misinformation, and the identity machinery that makes us more likely to believe it.

I recently launched the Introduction of Misguided, the audio series, and the next two episodes of the audio series are up! Chapter 1 covers the scope and consequences of misinformation, and Chapter 2 goes inside the psychology of identity, which is the foundation of how and why we are vulnerable to believing falsehoods.

As a reminder, each episode has two parts. First, a summary of the chapter’s core research and arguments. Then my own commentary on what I would add now, a year after the manuscript went to press.
